Camphor is a great Essential Oil for protecting clothes from moths. Camphor is a traditional ingredient of mothballs and these can be made at home by adding 10 drops of White Camphor to a cotton wool ball and placing these in cupboards, drawers, etc. To keep other airborne pests at bay, try adding 5 drops of Camphor to a burner or diffuser. Extracted by distillation from the wood of this evergreen tree, there are then three extractions made from Camphor only White Camphor is safe for aromatherapy use as it contains no Safrol (unlike Yellow and Brown Camphor).
